Same Ol' Routine

We're back to the same old routine today. Ma left yesterday and got home safely (and uneventfully). No cancelled flights this time. Gerard was sad to see her go -- he had so much fun while she was here. He even asked why she had to leave and if she could stay. Awww. She (and Dad) will be back in a week and a half, so he doesn't have to wait too long!

I know I shouldn't complain since we have had a (relatively) mild winter, but I'm tired of being stuck in the house. We go out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to the gym and on Tuesdays and Thursdays to school, but other than that we're home for the most part. It's wearing on us. It's too cold to play outside in the snow, so poor Gerard is stuck running around the house. Not that he minds THAT too much....

The problem now is that we're expecting more snow. Not like back in Central NY, where they've been getting hammered, but enough to be a pain in the neck. I just hope school isn't cancelled tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
